VETERAN SERVICES

Miller County Veterans Service Office was established in the early 1940s.
Our office hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. We currently take appointments, but walk-ins are welcome. As always, appointments have priority. We are closed for all State and National holidays.

Our office works hand in hand with the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs and the Texas Veterans Commission. These two entities provide the training and accreditation for the Service Officer. Mr. Ornberg is accredited with ADVA, TVC, The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars of the US.

Our office has a proud history of assisting veterans and their families with the VA claim process, as well as assistance for Active Duty Military Reserve and National Guard with issues that arise. All are welcome.

Service Connected Disability Claims

We assist all veterans with claims for disabilities that were caused or aggravated by military service.

Non-Service Connected Claims

We assist veterans and surviving spouses with claims for non-service connected pension for war time era veterans.

Survivor Benefits

We assist surviving spouses with survivor benefits, survivors’s education benefits and any other related benefits.

Military Records

We assist veterans and next of kin with military records, request and other service documentation
